Live Assist is a web app that allows website owners to see visitors browsing their website in real time. The website owner can then if he wishes, "push" a chat session to the visitor and offer them assistance. This is virtually just like an associate walking up to a customer in a store and offering assistance to the customer.

Live Assist is based on the Live Help model and comes loaded with features including the option to place a button on your web pages allowing the visitors to request assistance. When you have no operators online the button automatically tells visitors that help is offline and allows them to leave a message. You can assign your operators to different departments so your operators will have the level of expertise to satisfy your customers.
